From November 2009 through December 2010, Stephens Media newspapers and websites published the stories of more than 75 men and women in uniform who received top commendations for acts of bravery and valor.
War is tragic and frightening. These stories, however, will tell of individuals who acted selflessly when thrust into life-or-death situations.
